Laurieton boxer, Shelley Watts, has progressed through to the next round of the 60-kilogram lightweight division of the Women’s World Boxing Championships in South Korea.
The 27-year-old had a convincing win over home town favourite, Jina Park.
Watts won all three rounds, with scores of 40.
She’ll now take on Kazakhstan’s Gulzhaina Ubbiniyazova on Thursday afternoon.
