DAN HUGHES SCORES 300 NOT OUT FOR NSW SECONDS IN COFFS

A brilliant undefeated triple century by skipper Daniel Hughes has steered New South Wales to a
commanding position in its second elevens match against Tasmania in Coffs Harbour.

Relishing the stadium wicket, the Blues declared their first innings closed just before this morning’s tea break at four for 568.

Apart from the 300 not out by Daniel Hughes, Brian Gibson scored 92 and Nick Larkin made 70.

Just before stumps, the Tasmanians were 3 for 162 in their second innings, with one day of play remaining.
