The north west’s Schwager Contracting is the national horseball champion, downing Carey’s Freight Lines 6-3 in today’s final.
The Narrabri-based outfit came out strong, and went on to lead for the entire match.
Their Tamworth-based opponents showed brief moments of brilliance, but just fell short.
While in the juniors, Haden Electrical claimed a two-goal win.
The result saw Carey’s Freight Lines teams finish as the runners-up in both divisions.
