A Land and Environment Court case between anti-mining group ‘People for the Plains’ and Santos has been adjourned until next month.
The group, which is being represented by EDO environmental lawyers, claims Santos should have to obtain development consent for its Leewood water treatment facility near Narrabri.
The gas giant argues it doesn’t need consent because the project is classified as CSG exploration only.
The case will be back in court on May 17.
