Hastings residents are being encouraged to tune up their taste buds for the month ahead, as the region launches its Food Month.
A host of farming, food and wine focussed events will be conducted throughout October to showcase the region’s produce.
The main event will be the annual Tastings of the Hastings at the Port Macquarie racecourse.
The food and wine fair will have more than 80 stalls, and once again feature cooking demonstrations, for those trying to recreate what they taste on the day.
The month-long culinary celebration wraps up with a High Tea by the Hastings on the 29th of October.
