It’s International Nurses Day, and a small group at the Calvary Mater took a well deserved break, to help celebrate.
“It’s the one day of the year where nurses can stop for a few minutes and celebrate the contriibution they make to our community.”
This year’s theme, equity and access to health… while at the Mater they also focused on the role nurses play in assisting oncology specialists.
“Our specialist medical staff can spend more time with patients newly diagnosed with cancer.”
