A motorcyclist in the Northern Rivers has died after he failed to negotiate a bend and crashed down an embankment.
The accident happened at around 10:30am yesterday, on Smith Creek Road in Stokers Sliding.
Other motorists and friends who were riding with the 64-year-old man stopped to help him, but he died at the scene.
