Two new police officers joined the Richmond Local Area Command today.
31-year-old Shannon Hudson and 22-year-old Katie Hinshaw began their training at the Lismore Police Station.
The fresh faces aren’t likely to get lost in the region, they’re both are born and bred here.
“It’s always reassuring for people in the community to recognise a friendly face. And they might feel more confortable dealing with that person if they’re known through their involvement with community sports and schools and the like.”
