A 42-year-old East Tamworth man has been arrested over a robbery at the Tudor Hotel on New Year’s Day.
After leads from the public, officers arrested the man just before 1 o’clock this afternoon.
Around $3,000 was taken from the hotel bar, money which was being raised to help cover the medical expenses of a young local girl.
He’s been refused bail and will face Tamworth Local Court tomorrow.
