Burning towels caused a fire in a Labrador Massage parlour overnight.
Firefighters were called to the Marine Parade business just before 2am, to find it filled with smoke.
It’s believed warm, damp towels, taken out of the dryer, combusted and sparked the blaze.
“The internal aread of the premis was on fire and in an another couple of minutes the building would have been well involved in the downstairs area.”
Four people were upstairs sleeping at the time, but evacuated upon hearing smoke alarms.
