A deliberately lit bushfire at Old Bar – that firefighters have been battling since Monday night – has now been contained.
Warm weather and nor-easterly winds caused the fire to jump containment lines at Mudbishops Road early yesterday evening.
But the Rural Fire Service says the 64 hectare blaze is now under control with no homes under threat.
