NORTH COAST SURF REPORT 25-01-13

After a two day swell pulse at the start of the week – where some beachies reportably resembled reef breaks – the past few days of waves have been of the small but clean variety. Todays pics at Coffs Harbour’s Park Beach show a few frothing groms milking the most of a weak half metre south east swell before heading back to the classrooms next week.
This weekend though, the swell is predicted to jump up near the two-metre mark. Unfortunatley, the winds will be tending to blow onshore between 20 to 40 kilometres per hour making for poor quality surf at most open beaches. So, check out your more protected points or beachies and enjoy the extra grunt.
Cheers, noel.
