A male driver has had a very lucky escape this morning, after crashing his car down an embankment at Port Macquarie.
Shortly after 11am, emergency crews were called to Oxley Beach Reserve following reports a car had left Pacific Drive and may have gone over a cliff.
It’s believed the man blacked out at the wheel, before his vehicle ploughed through about 40 metres of bush, coming to rest just metres from the cliff edge.

The man is being treated at the scene by paramedics.
