Leaked budget documents suggest the New South Wales Government will allocate a record $15-billion to the state’s health system when Premier Nathan Rees delivers the budget on Tuesday.
Tamworth MP, Peter Draper believes a promise to redevelop Tamworth Hospital will be honoured with construction expected to commence in late 2010.
Over the past week staff from the Department of Commerce and New South Wales Health Infrastructure have travelled to Tamworth to discuss the project with local health bosses.
