A truck driver has escaped serious injury after his semi-trailer, carrying a load of cattle, overturned near Boggabri this morning.
The man was travelling along the Kamilaroi Highway at around 7.30, when he lost control of his rig on a bend at Gin’s Leap.
Police closed the northbound lane for a short time, while a number of cattle had to be put down.
