Two Tamworth football players are on their way to Japan to represent Australia in the Tokyo International Youth Football Tournament.
Oxley High’s Brad Mackenzie and Will Kam were fine tuning their skills at a trial match in Newcastle today.
The teenagers help make up the Northern New South Wales Under 14’s team, which includes other players from seven of the state’s northern zones.
The team will play sides from across Europe, the Middle East and Asia during the 10-day tour.
