PFAS RESULTS CONFIRM LOW RISK AT MINES RESCUE SITES

Mines Rescue says recent PFAS test results have confirmed levels at its Newcastle and Hunter Valley sites are low risk to human health.
It follows initial tests at the Mines Rescue stations in April, which confirmed traces of the chemical in the soil.
Tests were completed both on and around the sites.
Mines Rescue says it will continue to monitor the areas for possible wet weather and seasonal variations.
