In just three weeks residents will again have full access to the Armidale Regional Airport, with work scheduled for completion within that time frame.
Once complete, it will be able to house larger aircraft while wifi will keep waiting passengers entertained.
Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall say the airport is a gateway for more than 140,000 to visit the Northern Tablelands, so it’s important that the airport meets the standard of demand.
The official opening has been scheduled for December.
