“GAS FOR THE BUSH” TABLED IN PARLIAMENT

Better access to reticulated gas could soon become a reality in towns other than Tamworth, after the state government tabled its report into downstream gas supply and availability this week.
If the policy, labelled “gas for the bush” is adopted, it would see bounties paid to private companies to get regional communities connected.
