MAN IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER BEING GORED BY A BULL

A 38 year-old man is in a critical but stable condition in a Sydney hospital, after being gored several times by a bull at Somersby.
The drama unfolded at a rural property on Reeves Road, just after 10 o’clock this morning.
Ambulance officers responding to a neighbour’s triple-o call, say the bull had pinned the man against a tree.
He suffered numerous puncture wounds to his stomach, as well as a head injury.
Despite his serious condition, the man remained conscious throughout the ordeal.
He was airlifted to Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital, where he’s undergoing surgery on his abdominal wounds.
The bull, reported to be very large, has been put down by its owner.
