TERRIGAL SCOOP POOL AT STATE TITLES

The Central Coast scored the quinella at New South Wales Pool Rescue Championships at the weekend.

Led by Australian representatives Tim Schofield and Rachelle King; Terrigal won the event for the third year in a row – finishing an incredible 273 points ahead of its nearest rival – fellow Coast club Umina, with Cronulla in third place.

Jack Waddell was a standout, along with Shelly Beach competitor Brad Woodward – who set a new personal best in the 200-metre obstacle event.

Terrigal will defend its Australian Pool Rescue title at Sydney Olympic Park next weekend.
