Jean Street in South Tamworth is set to be upgraded, as part of Tamworth regional Council’s maintenance program.
From 7pm to 6am on Sunday and Monday nights, starting tomorrow, the street will be closed to traffic between Robert and Robyn streets.
Council says it will make efforts to minimise the noise.
Work will include the removal of the existing pavement and replacing it with asphalt.
