Work on the 50 metre, 10 lane Commonwealth Games pool at Southport Broadwater Parklands will begin in a fortnight, so there’ll be new road detours around the site.
Council says the project is on track.
“We’ll have the roof on by the end of this year and we’re not upseting the marathon or anything.”
Council representatives from Christchurch visited the site this week.
