Another strong defensive effort from Newcastle’s Sam Poolman has helped the Giants to a thrilling seven-point Super Netball win over the Melbourne Vixens.
Poolman and defensive partner Bec Bullen were again formidable in the circle.
“We do a lot of work and these girls are coming together and I do think we’re a little bit better every week some of the things we’re working on come together every week. If we play well I think we can beat anyone”
Renae Ingles, a good friend of Poolman’s, made her return to Super Netball for the Vixens.
