Three men have been rescued after becoming trapped in floodwater east of Moree.
The trio, all of them aged 18, were on their way to the Gold Coast from Victoria for schoolies celebrations, when the vehicle they were travelling in was swept off a causeway at around midnight.
Police from Narrabri and Moree, the SES, VRA, as well as ambulance crews located the men stranded on top of their vehicle.
They braved difficult conditions to rescue them using ropes to pull them to safety.
