Two young women have been found safe after spending the night missing in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
The alarm was raised when the women, 21 and 23, failed to return from a bushwalking trip on Wednesday.
Emergency crews found the pair on a hiking trail at 10 this morning and praised the women for stopping during the night and for carrying wet weather gear, food and water.
