GREYHOUND RACING BACK ON IN TAREE

And greyhound racing will resume at Taree Greyhound Club this weekend, for the first time since the state government announced the industry’s shut-down.
The club was involved in a state-wide lock-down while compliance checks were carried out on all New South Wales’ tracks.
Taree’s Kanangra track will see 96 dogs race over Saturday’s 12 events.
It comes a week after local greyhound owners and trainers met with the transition taskforce coordinator over their compensation package.
