A truck driver has had a lucky escape, after a semi-trailer overturned on the Bucketts Way near Burrell Creek at about 10:30 this morning.
The driver aged in his late 50’s was taken by ambulance to Manning Hospital suffering a minor shoulder injury.
The truck was transporting 40 cattle from Walcha to the Wingham abattoir – a number had to be euthanised following the accident.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash and are calling for any witnesses to come forward.
