Patients and staff at Moree and Armidale hospitals are set to benefit from a new, multi-million dollar program which will see electric beds rolled out across the Hunter New England Health District.
Costing up to $25, 000- each – 859 electric beds will replace every manual bed in the region.
The beds will reduce the risk of patients having a fall and of nurses being injured when moving patients in and out of beds.
