Lake Macquarie detectives threatening strike action, say they’re still waiting to hear what the state government will do.
The detectives demanded more numbers two weeks ago with leaked documents revealing an unsustainable workload.
“All Lake Macquarie detectives are saying is where are they, and why aren’t we getting our share.”
Labor promised 120 new detective positions yesterday but there’s no word yet on where they’ll go.
