JETS YOUTH CLAIM THE INAUGURAL NPL MINOR PREMIERSHIP

The Jets Youth side has claimed the NPL minor premiership thanks to a one-all draw with Weston.
In today’s other game, Lambton jumped into third with a win over Adamstown.
With the inaugural NPL trophy up for grabs, neither side was giving much away.
Weston had the first chance, but Nicholas Hartnett shut it down.
The Bears’ Connor Evans then had a legitimate claim for a penalty waved away.
The Jets Youth had few chances, Michael Kantarovski should’ve done better with this one.
In the end the draw was enough to give the youngsters their first premiership.
