STATE’S FIRST DEMENTIA-FRIENDLY GARDEN OPENS

More than 2,000 people in Port Macquarie are living with dementia – and sadly, that figure’s expected to double by the year 2050.

To deal with the problem, a new sensory garden has been built, to help those with the illness live a full life.
