A 32-year-old man has been airlifted to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital with serious head injuries following a brawl in West Tamworth overnight.
Police were called to a Green Street home just before 2am, following reports a number of people had begun fighting in the front yard.
The man was taken by ambulance to Tamworth Hospital, but was flown to Newcastle this afternoon.
Investigations are continuing.
