Gunnedah has featured at this year’s Northern Inland Academy of Sport awards.
Eliza Perkins was named female athlete of the year, for her achievements in netball – she’s also a member of the New South Wales under-17 development squad.
Meanwhile, tennis player Andrew Osmond was named male athlete of the year.
He’s currently competing in a platinum tournament in Sawtell.
