BEAU SCOTT RELEASED FROM KNIGHTS, TO JOIN EELS

Kangaroos back-rower Beau Scott will be released from the final two years of his contract with the Newcastle Knights, on compassionate grounds. It means he’s free to officially sign a three year deal with Parramatta. He joined the Knights in 2013, after a move from St George, and has been one of the club’s most consistent players. “We wish Beau the very best for his future, both personally and professionally, and look forward to him returning to the field and leading our team throughout the remainder of this season,” CEO Matt Gidley said. KORBIN SIMS PREPARES TO LINE UP WITH HIS BROTHER TARIQ

Knights forward Korbin Sims has been working on his technique with club legend Danny Buderus following his two game suspension for two separate lifting tackles against the Titans. Tomorrow night he’ll play for Newcastle alongside brother Tariq for the first time and their family across the world will be watching. TITANS FIGHT FOR HOME GAMES AT CBUS STADIUM

It’s set to be another trying week for the Titans on and off the field. Bosses will again meet with Stadiums Queensland to figure out if the club’s home games can be played at C-BUS stadium.
