MISSING BOY LOCATED AT GRAFTON

A 12-year-old boy, who was allegedly abducted on the Gold Coast yesterday, has been located by police in Grafton. He is believed to have suffered no major injuries. A 53-year-old man is assisting police with their inquiries, while officers are still looking to locate the dark blue 2013 Jeep Compass with QLD registration 760TNH believed to be linked to the boy’s disappearance. TWO MEN CHARGED FOLLOWING SEPARATE RAIDS

Police have arrested and charged a 32-year-old man with serious drug offences, after allegedly seizing more than 700 MDMA tablets from a Goonellabah home. “We’re talking about, what we’ll allege to be the upper end of drug supply in this area.” Detectives say they also found ice and other drug implements during the search, conducted earlier today. As that search was happening, officers were also working to return a large quantity of property stolen from homes across the region. The haul was allegedly uncovered yesterday morning, when they raided a Gungas Road property. PROHIBITED DRUGS ALLEGEDLY LOCATED IN GOONELLABAH HOME

A 32-year-old man has been arrested, following an amount of drugs allegedly located during a search warrant in northern New South Wales today. Around 9.20am, detectives from Lismore Police Station executed a search warrant at a Goonellabah address. Police will allege that during the search, they located a quantity of methylamphetamine, believed to be ecstasy and ‘ice’. A 32-year-old man is expected to be charged with supplying commercial quantity of prohibited drugs, namely MDMA (ecstasy) and possession of a prohibited drug, namely ‘ice.’

STOLEN GOODS RECOVERED IN NIMBIN

Police have recovered property believed to have been stolen, following a search warrant in Nimbin yesterday. Around 10.45am, officers attached to the Richmond Target Action Group executed a search warrant at a house in Gungas Road. Police allege they located power tools, personal items and clothing, including a NSW Fire & Rescue helmet, and close to 200 grams of cannabis. Officers are investigating possible links to a number of break and enters in the area. A 47-year-old man was arrested and taken to Lismore Police Station. He was charged with several offences, including two counts of steal property in dwelling house, and attempt to dispose of stolen property. He was refused bail to appear at Lismore Local Court later today.
