She’s just cemented her status as the greatest cliff diver of all time, but there’s no rest for Nords Wharf’s Rhiannon Iffland. Sent on a scouting mission to the picturesque Patagonia region in Chile, to find new diving locations for the Red Bull World Series. FRUSTRATING LOSS FOR JETS W-LEAGUE SIDE

Jets W-League coach Craig Deans has lamented a frustrating loss for his side, that at times “lacked energy and commitment.” Brisbane won 1-nil, and it could’ve been more. SUZY BATKOVIC CLOSES IN ON WNBL MILESTONE

Hunter basketballer Suzy Batkovic is on the brink of another WNBL milestone. If she can post 19 points or more tomorrow night for Townsville against the Bendigo Spirit, she’ll surpass the legendary Rachael Sporn as the competition’s all-time leading scorer. Despite announcing this season will be her last, 37-year-old Batkovic still leads the league with 20 points per game, and sits in second for rebounds. Batkovic already has the record for the most defensive boards.

ALL EYES ON AUSTRALIAN PGA FOR JAKE HIGGINBOTTOM

Having done enough at the Hong Kong Open to retain his Asian Tour card, Charlestown’s Jake Higginbottom has switched his focus to the Australian PGA Championship, which begins on the Gold Coast on Thursday. The 25-year-old will need to make the cut in order to secure his full-time Australian card for 2019. Higginbottom will play round one alongside fellow Hunter professional Aaron Townsend, who also needs a big result to improve his ranking.
