NARARA MAN IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER 10m FALL

A 19-year-old Narara man is fighting for his life in Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital after falling 10 metres off a pedestrian overpass at Darling Habour on Saturday night. Police say it appears he was sitting on a hand rail when he lost his balance. He suffered serious head injuries. Police believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor.

NO CHARGES LAID AGAINST TELEVISION CREW

Police have decided not to lay charges against a crew from A Current Affair, over an incident involving Member for Robertson Belinda Neal, in July. Ms Neal had accused the crew of assault and trespass after being confronted at her Gosford office at the height of the Iguanas fiasco. Tuggerah Lakes Detectives, who investigated the complaint, say there were insufficient grounds to lay charges.

MAN IN COURT OVER DEADLY CRASH

A 32-year-old father from the Central Coast says he’s now apprehensive about driving and suffers depression, following a fatal crash at Gateshead last year. Scott Foster will be sentenced in Newcastle District Court next month, after pleading guilty to dangerous driving occasioning death.
