PEDESTRIAN KILLED ON CENTRAL COAST

A male pedestrian has died, after being hit by a car at Woongarrah on the Central Coast. Emergency services were called to Hakone Road near the intersection of Waterside Drive, at around 8 o’clock last night, following reports a man had been hit by a car. The man, who is believed to be in his 70’s, died at the scene. The female driver of the car was taken to Wyong Hospital for mandatory testing.

Two Central Coast football clubs have responded, following a brawl during a third-grade match yesterday afternoon, which saw a referee hospitalised. The 56-year-old man is stable and recovering from a coward punch attack at Pat Morley Oval. Kanwal Football Club has wished the match official a speedy recovery at Gosford Hospital…. …while in a statement to NBN News, the head of The Entrance Bateau Bay says he’s disgusted by the behaviour on display and the club is cooperating with an ongoing police investigation.
