MAN CHARGED OVER INDECENT ASSAULTS

A 51-year-old man has been charged with indecently assaulting two teenagers on the Central Coast last year. The man was arrested at a business in Erina on Thursday afternoon, and charged with the assaults which occurred in August and November last year. Police will allege a 16-year-old girl was assaulted while she was employed at an Erina business, while a 17-year-old was assaulted after she sought work at the business. He was granted bail to appear in Gosford Local Court on Tuesday.

MAN ELECTROCUTED ON CENTRAL COAST RAIL LINE

A 23-year-old man has been killed, when he was electrocuted near a Central Coast railway station overnight. Emergency services were called to Niagara Park Railway Station around 2am, following reports a man had been electrocuted. Initial reports suggest the man was inside the rail corridor and came into contact with electrical equipment. Three other men were arrested, however they were all released pending further inquiries.

WOMAN HIT BY A CAR IN KINCUMBER

An elderly woman has been airlifted to a Sydney hospital, after being hit by a car in Kincumber. The 79-year-old was on her way to have her hair styled around 9.30 this morning, when she was struck by a vehicle on Avoca Drive and knocked unconscious. She was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious, but stable condition. (no audio)

WALLABY FOUND SWIMMING IN BRISBANE WATER

Staff at Central Coast Ferries had their hands full this morning, rescuing a wallaby, which had gone for a plunge in Brisbane Water. The crew acted quickly, using a rope to catch and pull ashore the tiny swimmer, onto a wharf at Saratoga. The furry critter was later set free into nearby bushland. (no audio)
