MAN STABBED AT LONG JETTY

A man is in a critical condition, after being stabbed several times in the chest last night at Long Jetty. The frenzied attack occurred at around 7.30pm, after a fight broke out between two housemates at a home on Toowoon Bay Road. A 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene and refused bail in Wyong Local Court today. He’ll appear in court again on September 4, via video link.

MAN STABBED IN ALLEGED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INCIDENT

A 27-year-old man is set to face court, after another man was stabbed during an alleged domestic violence incident on the Central Coast. Police have been told the pair got into an argument at a home on Toowoon Bay Road at Long Jetty, at around 7:30 last night, when it’s alleged a 31-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the chest. The injured man was taken to The Entrance Police Station, before being taken to John Hunter Hospital. He remains in a critical but stable condition. A 27-year-old man was arrested at the home, and charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

DASHCAM CAPTURES TERRIFYING CENTRAL COAST CRASH

There was a terrifying moment for a learner driver and her mother, when a ute slammed into their car on the Central Coast. The vehicle went out of control on a bend, before crossing to the wrong side of the road at San Remo – the whole incident was captured on dashcam. The 24-year-old suspected drunk driver was taken to hospital suffering minor injuries.

There was plenty happening at St Phillip’s in Narara today for Kenya Help Day. From sausage sizzles, hair spraying, to toy stalls… The school fundraiser held once again to raise money for those in need in the east African nation. An idea founded by student Zara Matthews three years ago, who decided it was time to help make a difference. (Audio in parts)
