WESTPAC RESCUE RESPONDS TO MULTIPLE ACCIDENTS OVERNIGHT

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter responded to separate vehicle accidents in the Hunter and Central Coast regions overnight. In the first incident, a 17-year-old male was flown to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition after coming off his motorcycle on the New England Highway near the Lake St Claire Turnoff at Singleton around 7pm. Then late last night, a woman, aged 40, suffered multiple injuries after her car rolled over and hit a a tree at Alison near Wyong. She was also flown to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.

TODDLER HIT BY TRUCK ON THE CENTRAL COAST

A two-year-old boy has been placed in an induced coma after being knocked down by a truck on the Central Coast. He was flown to John Hunter Hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition. Police are now looking for the truckie who did not stop at the scene in Ourimbah, officers saying the driver may not be aware the boy had been hit.
