STAFFING BOOST FOR CENTRAL COAST HOSPITALS

Central Coast Health District is set to receive a much-needed staffing boost regardless of who wins the upcoming state election. More than 400 doctors, nurses and support workers will be shared between Gosford and Wyong Public Hospitals. It’s part of a $2.8-billion health promise made by the Berejiklian Government yesterday. CAR CRASHES INTO KILLARNEY VALE HOUSE

A Killarney Vale house has been badly damaged, after a P-Plater lost control of a car and crashed into the garage shortly before 9 o’clock last night. Thankfully, nobody was home at the time. Residents told NBN News if they had been at home, the car would have pushed their own vehicle through their lounge room wall. The driver returned a negative blood alcohol reading. (VISION ONLY)

GOSFORD DESIGN ADVISORY PANEL UNVEILED

Investor confidence in Gosford is surging, with more than a dozen development applications worth more than $75 million each, put forward since October. Planning Minister Anthony Roberts today unveiled the City of Gosford Design Advisory Panel, to guide the revitalisation of the CBD. “Coming up here for Valentine’s Day, some people say show your love through flowers, for me it’s showing my love of Gosford through good design and jobs.” The 6-member panel will work with the state government architects, to ensure major developments compliment each other. “It will make sure that we have the infrastructure as well that supports it and the flow on effect from Gosford. All of a suddent Gosford will be the shining gateway it’s supposed to be.” (AUDIO ONLY IN PARTS)
