THOUSANDS ATTEND 75TH SHELLING ANNIVERSARY

Fort Scratchley had all guns blazing today, as commemorations continue for the 75th anniversary of the shelling of Newcastle by a Japanese submarine. The fort’s working guns were fired during a special open day.
