Newcastle lord mayor Ross Kerridge has for the first time shared his ongoing health battle, which prompted him to take a hiatus from the role.
Diagnosed with a form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, he’s already begun chemotherapy, but has told NBN News he isn’t planning on withdrawing from public life entirely.
