Residents say political row is a “distraction” as landslip homes deteriorate

Residents displaced by the New Lambton landslip say the ongoing row between the state government and Newcastle Council is a “complete distraction from the issue”.

They say 16 homes are continuing to deteriorate and the outcome of parliamentary inquiry into the Reconstruction Authority will be too little, too late.
