Inside Newcastle’s $48-million new-look art gallery

It’s been in the pipeline for two decades and this Friday, the doors of Newcastle’s $48-million new-look art gallery will finally swing open.

Boasting more than double the previous exhibition space, it’s hoped it will become a favourite destination on the global art trail.
