Macksville and Sawtell take out first round for the Group 2 footy season

Rain impacted the return of Group 2 on the weekend, with the South Grafton versus Woolgoolga game washed out.

Macksville notched up their first win, overcoming the Coffs Comets 24 to 18.

While Sawtell clawed their way back in the second half – beating the Grafton Ghosts by four points.
