The Nambucca Valley’s community radio station is to receive a federal government grant of $120,000
to pay for its move into new premises.
For the past 20 years, 2NVR has been located in the basement of an aging wooden building in Bowraville.
The move has been made necessary because of concerns for safety, access and security.
The radio station’s new home will be at the community centre at Tewinga.
The funding announcement has ended speculation over the future of the station.
