Tamworth’s favourite son Alan Tongue returned home this week to host his annual Easter holiday camp.

The former NRL star put dozens of young players through their paces.

Born and bred in the Manning Valley, Rob Douglas joined the Taree bureau in June 2021 after a short career in print media. He joined the Tamworth team in July 2023. Rob graduated from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2016 with a sports journalism degree.
