Multi-agency search for missing woman off Newcastle Beach

A multi-agency search is underway on Newcastle Beach – after a woman reportedly entered the water and failed to return.

A witness alerted officers shortly before 5am – but, 12 hours later, there’s still no sign of the missing swimmer.
